Destination : Cochin - Munnar - Thekkady - Kumarakom - Aleppey - Kovalam

Day 1 : Arrive Cochin
You are greeted on arrival at the Kochi International Airport by the Indian Horizons representative and transfer to the hotel. After fresh-up proceed for sightseeing visiting Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, etc. Evening enjoy Kathakali Dance show. Overnight at Cochin

Day 2 : Cochin - Munnar
Morning drive to Munnar covering a distance of 130 Kms/ 4 hrs enroute visit Cheyyappara Waterfalls. On arrival check-into the hotel. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 3 : In Munnar
Morning sight seeing in Munnar visiting Pothamedu, Devikulam, Pullivasal, Attukad, Mattupetty, Echo-Point etc. Over night stay at Munnar.

Day 4 : Munnar - Thekkady
Morning drive to Thekkady covering a distance of 110 Kms /3.5 Hrs. On arrival check-into the resort. Afternoon visit the tea-cardamom plantations. Overnight at Thekkady

Day 5 : In Thekkady
Morning sight seeing in Thekkady visiting Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Murikady, Pandikkuzhi etc. Boating through Periyar lake will be ever memorable one. Overnight at Thekkady.

Day 6 : Thekkady - Kumarakom
Morning drive to Kumarakom covering a distance of 125 Kms/ 04 Hrs. On arrival check-into the wildlife resort. Afternoon with Indian Horizons orthinologist visit the Kumarakom bird sanctuary. You can spot King fisher, Wood peeker, Drongo, Egrets, Bee-caters etc. Overnight at Kumarakom

Day 7 : Kumarakom - Alleppey
After breakfast, board in Houseboat, sightseeing and cruises to Alleppey. Overnight at Houseboat. (Traditional Kerala food will be served). The houseboats are giant country Crafts, measuring up to 80 feet length. It took great skill and meticulousness to construct these giants by tying huge planks of jack wood together, without the use of a single nail. Today these are the most exciting tourism product in India, which usually has one or two bath rooms, an open lounge, deck, kitchenette and a crew comprising oarsmen, a cook and guide.

Day 8 : Alleppey - Kovalam
Morning on arrival to Aleppey drive to Kovalam covering a distance of 175 Kms /04 Hrs. On arrival check-into the beach resort. Overnight at Kovalam

Day 9 : In Kovalam
Day free to relax at the beach resort. You would have the option to enjoy Ayurvedic Message. Overnight at Kovalam

Day 10 : In Kovalam
Morning after breakfast full day excursion to Kanyakumari. Visit the Vivekanada Rock, Kanyakumari Temple, Gandhi Memorial etc. Watch the sun set and drive to Kovalam. Overnight at Kovalam

Day 11 : Kovalam - Flight Back Home
Morning after breakfast transfer with our representative to the airport for your flight back home












Things to do
Things to do in Kerala:

1. Ride a canoe:
Drift along serene waterways in a country craft, enjoy the breeze, answer a cuckoo's call. Wave back at the cheerful village children on the banks. Invite some of them to top in for a ride.

2. Wear jasmine in your hair: Get yourself a string of jasmine - the natural ornament for your hair. You could even pluck them fresh from a garden and string them yourself.

3. Visit the local markets:
Small stalls with fresh vegetables, fruits, fish, chicken. High-pitched salesmen luring you with impossible bargains. Visit these bustling markets, or chandas.

4. Stay in a tree house:

Spend romantic nights in tree houses, washed in the sweet scent of forest flowers. Let the sounds of the forest fill your dreams.

5. Have a mud bath:
Go in for mud therapy and discover its healing properties at the Kavil Bhavan Yoga and Cultural Centre at Nileswaram.
